The Finn Factor Giveaway

It's been one month since The Finn Factor was released and set free in the world, and I feel like celebrating.

I have two kindle copies in my hot little hands, and I'm ready to give them away.

But first, I'm asking for something in return. I want you to give me one of my favourite things - recommendations! What's been the best book out of your recent reads? One that made you laugh, or a sexy one, or a story that made you cry, or that has all the feels. Whatever it was, I want to know!

If you've already grabbed a copy of The Finn Factor (thank you!) you can still join in the fun. If your name is drawn, I'll organise something else for you instead. :)

Okay, ready? Hit me with those recommendations!

  1. Hi Rachel. I would love to read The Finn Factor. I have read so many great books this year. I would recommend A Seal's Temptation by Tawny Weber and How to Get Lucky by Erin McCarthy

    1. Tammy, they sound great! I haven't read a Tawny Weber book before, so that would be a new to me, but I've liked a couple of Erin McCarthy books, so I'll give How to Get Lucky a go. Thanks!

    1. Helen, three great recommendations! I've seen the cover for Barbara Hannay's The Secret Years and it looked fabulous! And, oh, I've been meaning to grab a copy of Stef's A Dangerously Sexy Christmas, so you've just given me the best reminder. Thanks!

  3. Rachel, I've just finished Karen Rose's Closer Than You Think. It's a big book but un-put-down-able. The suspense is great but the romance is even better.
Currently reading The Lost Mona Lisa by R A Scott. No romance but a fascinating insight to a different era and world.

    1. Sue, as much as I love an unputdownable book, I'm far too much of a 'fraidy cat to read suspense. Though I bet others reading these comments will love it. The Lost Mona Lisa sounds really interesting. Will look it up!

  4. This is currently sitting in my Kindle and I can't wait to read it! :-)

As for recent reads that I've enjoyed -- I've dipped into a couple of Kelly Hunter novellas (fab!) and picked up an old Sarah Mayberry that had been on my kindle for FAR too long (Her Favourite Temptation). Both authors always deliver. :-)

    1. Michelle, I think I have that exact Sarah Mayberry on my kindle too - might bump it up the list. In fact, I can't believe I let it wait this long since I love Sarah's books.

And speaking of authors I love, Kelly's books are fab too! I read one of her novellas recently too and loved it, but I don't have her latest. Must rectify!

  6. Hey Rachel! I recently read all three of Sarah Mayberry's "Brothers Ink" series. Loved those books, and wanted more!

I haven't read The Finn Factor yet, but would love to.

  7. Hmmm... You mean aside from TFF and Stef's Pretend It's Love?
I'll let you know tomorrow. My brain is fried from the number of GST calls I took this short week that didn't feel short.

    1. Ha! Yes, Lyn, besides TFF and Stef's book. :) Aren't Stef's stories great?

Hugs on the work woes. Short weeks always seem to give and take in equal measures, don't they?

  8. D B Tait's Cold Deception was my last great read.

    1. Cathleen, I'm a total 'fraidy cat about suspense books, otherwise I would have totally gobbled up Cold Deception - the blurb was compelling!

  9. I have read so many good books this year, hard to choose the best. But the most recent one that I just loved was Nora Roberts' The Liar. Typical Nora Roberts, which means it was wonderful: all the usual suspense, romance, great characters.

    1. Grandma Cootie, I know what you mean about having trouble choosing! I've read some great ones this year too. Nora is great, isn't she? Though I can't read her scary ones, so I'll have to give The Liar a miss. Maybe I'll reread one of her sweet ones instead. I'm such a fraidy cat!!

  10. Rachel, I've just been catching up with a bit of reading and read not one but three Michelle Conder stories and loved them all. As well, I giggled all the way through Anna Campbell's 'A Pirate for Christmas' - a novella just out now (I got to read the draft). I've got a teetering TBR pile I need to get to - joy!

Congratulations on The Finn Factor. It sounds just the book for some pre-Christmas relaxing.

    1. Oooh, I saw that A Pirate For Christmas is out today, Annie - will have to duck over and grab a copy! I don't think I've read a Michelle Condor book before - might have to rectify that. Thanks for the suggestions!

  11. I just finished reading "I'll Be Home for Christmas" by Lori Wilde. Laughed and cried through this romance.

  13. I read Lovely Wild by Megan Hart earlier this year and it was wonderful. Mysterious and lush, beautifully written. Interest subject matter - highly recommend it!

If you want a giggle check out Kiss and Makeup by Taryn Leigh Taylor. It's sexy and laugh out loud funny.

Huge thanks to Helen and Lyn for mention my books. You guys rock! xx

    1. Sharon, your "peeking at the beginning" helped Finn and Scarlett become who they are, so thank you! :)
