And now for today's Sunday Smooch from Stefanie London's MR. DANGEROUSLY SEXY.

He’ll keep her safe…but can he keep his distance?

When Addison Cobalt learns she has a potentially volatile stalker, she tries to hide it from her business partner, Logan Dane. The hyperprotective, supersexy cohead of their security company will only try to take control of the situation—and her.

Which is exactly what Logan does when he finds out about the stalker. Addison craves the safety of Logan’s body, but that doesn’t mean she’s willing to give up her independence, or all of her secrets, for him. She has a few ways to shake Logan’s iron control, but it’s a wicked and risky game. Because the only thing more dangerous than her stalker is Mr. Dangerously Sexy himself!

Setup:
Addison and Logan have known each other ever since she was a teenager and he was hired by her father. They have a fierce connection, even if they both feel it would be easier if they didn't. But one steamy night two years ago affected them both, and now they're still dealing with the fallout of that night.

Addison is sick of playing games, so she bets Logan that they won't make it home from dinner without him wanting to ravish her. And she's not the type to lose a bet.

Scene:

She reached into the pocket on the inside of her bag where she’d cheekily stashed her panties after returning from the restroom back at the restaurant. Initially, her plan had been to surprise him closer to home on a quiet little side street and let him feel his way to that discovery.

But he was playing hard to get.

Her fingertips brushed the expensive silk and she toyed with the little ribbon that held the sides together. As they rounded a corner, she pulled the panties out and stealthily tucked them into his hand.

“What the hell?” he said, looking at her and then dropping his eyes down to his hand. “Christ, Addison. Are these what I think they are?”

“If you think they’re a pair of Agent Provocateur ouvert panties, then you’re correct.” The style was her favorite, with little cutouts and fiddly ribbons that made her feel like a million bucks. “Spoiler alert, I’m wearing the matching bra.”

He stuffed the panties into his pocket but not before she saw him rub the silk between his fingers and his nostrils flared. His cool was slipping.

“I figured I’d save you the trouble of getting them off. They’re delicate and I didn’t want you to rip them.” She slipped his hand over her shoulder and turned her face up to his. “Save your teeth for me.”

He swore under his breath, his arm tightening around her. “You’re going to be the death of me, Cobalt.”

“At least you’ll die happy, Dane.”

“Die happy and go straight to hell. Sounds about right.” He grinned at her with a rakish devil-may-care expression.

It wasn’t often that he looked at her that way. Since he’d barreled into her life he’d been moody and dark, any joking or teasing undercut with a current of tension. Restraint.

“If everyone got sent to hell for having great sex, then I’d be happy to go there, too. It’d be quite the party.”

“So it’s great sex, huh?”

Heat crept into her cheeks, and she hid it by resting her head against his shoulder. “What would you call it?”

“Words aren’t my thing.”

They crossed another road and his apartment building loomed ahead. A quiet alley was a few feet off to their right, so she took his hand and pulled him toward the shadows. “Show me then.”

The alley was little more than an exit for the underground parking of one of the apartment towers on the block. On the other side was a fence that sectioned off a children’s playground. It was dark, but anyone looking closely would be able to see them.

She led Logan past the parking lot entrance and into the shadows. “It’s just us now.”

Heart hammering, she pulled him close and wedged herself between the hard muscle of his chest and the brick building. Her hands went to his pecs, sliding up until they curled around his jaw. Rough stubble scratched her palms and she tugged him closer. The moment his lips hit hers, she was lost. Obliterated.

His tongue pushed between her teeth and he pinned her against the wall. The hard jut of him sent her brain into meltdown. All she wanted was to feel him inside her.

“Addi,” he moaned as he ground himself against her. He yanked her leg over his hip and slid his hand up over the band of her thigh-high stocking until he cupped her bare ass.

The cool night air caressed her naked skin. She’d never done anything so wicked as this, so brazen. But it felt good to step out of her shell, to take charge of her life. To throw caution to the wind.

And now for today's Sunday Smooch from A Dangerously Sexy Secret.

Siren…or Sinner?

With her long blond hair and flowy skirts, Rhys Glover’s new neighbor is the sexiest woman he’s ever seen. He quickly learns she’s also free-spirited and impulsive—the total opposite of his own personality. They should be like oil and water. Instead, the chemistry between them is like oxygen and flame.

But when Rhys’s next assignment for Cobalt and Dane security leads him right back to Wren, Rhys begins to walk a very fine line between ethics and desire. He believes he can trust Wren, but can he trust himself when he’s with her? And if she is keeping her own dangerous secrets, will he be able to walk away?

***

I had SO MUCH FUN writing Rhys and Wren. They're next door neighbours, total opposites and on opposing sides of an investigation. As with the previous two books in the Dangerous Bachelors Series, this book has a slight suspense/mystery element which I really enjoyed writing - so hopefully you'll enjoy it too!

Now, onto the smooch..

He uttered her name so low she almost didn’t hear it. But he only took a second before he grabbed her hips and pinned her against the kitchen counter.

“I thought I was going to be the one to make a move.”

“So move,” she said, taunting him softly.

A gasp escaped her lips as he nudged his leg between hers, his thigh applying just the right amount of pressure to the needy ache there.

“Yes.” The word slipped from her lips and Wren felt her last remaining ounce of restraint disappear into the ether.

What did Debbie say—you’ve got to use it before you lose it?

Maybe it was stupid to get entangled with Rhys. No, it was definitely stupid. And not only that, it was irresponsible and selfish. She was keeping secrets from this man who’d been nothing but kind to her. Even after she’d spilled out all the pain of what had happened to her back home.

Stupid, stupid, stupid.

But right now her brain wasn’t the one in the driver’s seat. So there would be no obeying the speed limit, no following the rules. Her body had taken over, and it wanted to make up for lost time.
“How do you feel about dessert?” she asked.

Hard granite dug into her lower back as his hips held her fast. “What do you have in mind?”
“Let’s skip whatever you had planned and go straight to bed.”

“Health conscious. I like it.” His hot breath whispered across her skin as his full lips grazed her cheek.

“Yes, exactly what I was going for.” She rolled her eyes, her laugh breaking off into a moan as he nipped at her earlobe. “Do you have to be such an adult about everything?”

“I’m thinking some very adult things right now.”

Her hands drifted up his chest, tracing each ridge of muscle one by one. “Oh yeah?”

“Super adult. It would make my spreadsheet look like child’s play.”

Laughter bubbled up in Wren’s chest as she placed a finger over his lips. “Okay, enough dirty talk.”
Mercifully, he brushed her hand aside and finally captured her mouth. The soft glide of his tongue against hers left her weak at the knees. He tasted of wine and heaven. Boy, oh boy, could he kiss.

This was A-grade, five-gold-stars, Nobel Prize levels of kissing.

I hope you enjoyed the smooch! I have a signed copy for one lucky commenter. All you have to do to enter is answer the following question:

have you ever had to keep a secret from someone you cared about? Or have you ever stumbled across a secret that someone was keeping from you?

Come back next Sunday, when the winner of today's giveaway will be announced and a smooch from ....... will be posted!

Ready, player one…

Quinn Dellinger is supposed to be having fun at an industry party for gamers. Instead, all she can think about is the promotion she just got passed over for at her security firm. Then she spots him. Tall? Check. Dark? Check. Dangerously sexy? Check. Hell, yes—this is the guy who’ll help her forget all her worries and give her one wickedly naughty night.

The next morning she discovers her one-night stand was the guy who took her job. Oh, hell no. But Aiden Odell is not just a security specialist, he’s ex-FBI, and Quinn is expected to work with him—very closely—on a major assignment. He may be tall, dark and dangerously sexy, but this is one game Quinn is determined to win…

Set up: This is a blaze book, so things get steamy quickly! Quinn and Aiden have slept together only to realize they're actually new colleagues who have to work a security case together.

“What do you want from me?” he asked.

Burning hunger flared across her face. A delicate flush rose up her neck, and her lips parted. Tempting as sin. Heat blazed in her hazel eyes, lighting up the flecks of gold and green in her irises. Frustration and anticipation, excitement and a hint of fear. All competing for dominance.

It was how she’d looked at him that night, as she’d taken his hand and followed him to his room. As she’d watched him lower himself down on her body, then latching his mouth on the sweet spot between her legs. Tasting her. Drowning in her.

“Quinn.” He tried to hold his response back and hide it from her. “Don’t look at me like that. If you do…”

“What?” she asked, the question echoing in his head, bouncing around.

“Do you want me to be honest?”

She blinked, eyes wide and black as an abyss. “Yes.”

The air snapped around them, filled with chaotic energy and magnetic desire. He took the folder from her hands, tossing it onto the HR manager’s desk.

“I’m sorry I lied,” he said.

She backed up against the filing cabinet, her chest rising and falling beneath the open motorcycle jacket. “And?”

“I wish you hadn’t snuck out that morning.” His training and practice slipped away; the skills he’d honed to be detached and impassive dissolving like a snowflake on his tongue. “I wasn’t finished with you.”

A whimper escaped her lips. “I had to go.”

“I know.” He slid a hand along her jaw until his fingers threaded into her hair. “But I’ve thought about you every day since then. I’ve imagined what else I want to do to you, what else I want you to do to me.”

Her teeth scraped along her lower lip as her palms came up to his chest, her fingers sliding along the fabric of his shirt and setting off sparks within him.

“Tell me to stop.” His forehead came down to rest on hers, his eyes squeezed shut. “Because I’m going to kiss you if you don’t.”

Use your words, Quinn. Say it, say something. Anything.
But she couldn’t. Trapped between the hard metal cabinet and Aiden’s even harder body, his hand wrapped around the base of her skull, she couldn’t convince herself to put a stop to it.

His warm breath fanned out across her cheek as he hovered, his lips so close to hers. Damn it. She wanted this kiss, wanted it like sleep at the end of a long day. She wanted to sink into him and let the world fade away until there was nothing but his tongue against hers. She wanted not to be terrified of feeling like this.

What happened to baby steps? It was supposed to be one night, spontaneous and risk-free and—

“Just say the word.” His lips brushed her cheek.

Her breath stuck in her throat and her heart pounded like a fist against her rib cage. Awareness ran through her, filling her with a delicious tingling.

“Quinn,” he breathed as his lips crushed down on hers.

The force of his kiss pressed her hard into the cabinet, the files rattling inside it as the handle dug into her back. But the glide of his tongue between her lips, the pressure of his hands and the warm, heady scent of him took everything else away. Robbing her of all experience but his kiss.

Her body responded immediately, an aching pulse gathering hot and tight in her sex. Fingers curling into his shirt, she clung to him with all the desperate, terrifying need she’d locked away for the past two years. But Aiden wasn’t going to take advantage of her like her ex; he wasn’t going to use sex to humiliate her.

Strong hands held her head in place as he explored her, taking and giving all at once. Memories of him swirled so vividly in her mind it was hard to tell what was real and what wasn’t. His pushed his thigh between her legs, parting her and pressing against the pulsing ache there. She gasped.

Yes, yes, yes.

And now for today's Sunday Smooch from Stefanie London's latest Harlequin Blaze release, A Dangerously Sexy Christmas.

Assignment: A Hot Holiday Affair!

Aspiring jewelry designer Rose Lawson doesn’t want a bodyguard. Especially the hot, muscle-y one her father hires after a break-in at the jewelry shop where she works. It’s only when her home is also ransacked that Rose realizes the sexy (but infuriating) bodyguard might come in handy…especially on a cold winter’s night.

Max Ridgeway is a former Aussie cop who’s got something to prove in New York. He’s convinced that someone dangerous is behind the robberies and that Rose needs protection. His protection. But what’s even more dangerous is the sexy tension between them—because a hot little fling could compromise their lives…and his heart.

Set up: Given that this is a Harlequin/Mills & Boon Blaze book, it's on the spicy side! I had a hard time finding a scene that would be safe for public viewing ;)

Here, Rose has decided that she wants to deal with the tension between her and her very sexy, Aussie bodyguard, Max. And when Rose wants something, she always gets it...

“It’s my job to ensure your safety. That’s it.”

“You’re not on the clock now.” Her other hand found its way to his thigh.

God, he was so hard. His c*** strained against the zipper of his jeans, creating a solid ridge beneath the denim. If she brushed her hand just a little higher…

It had been so long since he’d had sex…months. Since he’d walked away from his job, his family and his fiancée, women had been few and far between. A one-night stand every so often, one fling that had lasted a week. No emotional involvement, no commitment, no expectations.

That was all he could fit into his life. Hell, it was all he could fit into his mind.

“Let’s distract ourselves.” She pressed her lips to his jaw.

Need ran through him, lighting up his body like a Christmas tree. “Rose,” he growled.

Her hands went straight to the knotted belt of her robe. The fabric parted to reveal paradise. Pale skin stretched out in sloping curves, the rise and fall of her breasts giving way to a smooth stomach, rounded hips and slender legs.

A scrap of pale lace covered her breasts, but did nothing to hide their beauty. Her nipples pressed through the fabric and he fought the urge to take one into his mouth.

“We need to deal with this sexual tension. It’s going to get in the way if we don’t.”

“What tension?” Had he been that obvious?

“I see the way you’ve been looking at me, Max.” She pushed up and straddled him. “You want me.”

Her thighs pinned him down, and it was all he could do not to buck up against her. She draped her arms over the back of the couch on either side of his head, her breasts inches from his mouth.

“I’m supposed to be working.” He tilted his face up to hers.

She lowered down and the heat of her made him groan, the anguished sound echoing in the quiet hotel room. She had him.

“Tell me you don’t want this.” She rolled her hips gently against his, increasing the pressure just enough to make spots dance in his vision. “I can feel that you want it.”

He knew it was wrong; it was totally against company policy to sleep with the client.

She’s not the client. What his bosses don’t know won’t hurt them…

“I want you, Max.” Her eyes were wide, blackened with arousal.

At the sound of his name on her lips his control shattered like glass against concrete. “I’m still not going to read you that bedtime story.”

“I can read on my own.” She reached for the hem of his T-shirt and tugged upward. “Or maybe I can read to you.”
