Yesterday I had a tooth extracted, and, I have to admit, I'm a complete baby about things happening in my mouth / head. It just all seems too... close to home.
Now I'm in the process of self-medicating with comfort food (of the soft variety) and comfort reading. But I've probably re-read my favourite comfort books too many times and am in desperate need of something new.
Nothing challenging, nothing that will scare me, nothing edgy. Today, I'm all about the feel-good, warm-and-fuzzy reads. Your go-to books that always make you feel better.
In return for your suggestions, I'll give one commenter a copy of either The Finn Factor or The Summer of Jake (winner's choice).
Okay, I have my clicking finger ready. TIA. Go!
