My family celebrated yesterday at my brother's house which is on the waterfront and after a week of rain the sun was shining!
I hope you enjoy these nice sunny snap shots.

It's stinking hot and humid here today, Helen... :-(
DeleteHappy Australia Day!
ReplyDeleteLamb chops on the barbie. :)
We had roast lamb for tea, Claire :-)
DeleteHappy Australia Day! I wish you could send a little of that sunshine and warmth over here :)
ReplyDeleteWould if I could Stefanie :-)
DeleteHappy Australia Day! It was also Auckland Anniversary day here (175 years!)- we've just returned from a camping holiday so my day was spent washing and unpacking....
ReplyDeleteThe downside of being away, Louisa :-(
DeleteHappy Australia Day, Amy. It also happens to be my wedding anniversary (eloping to England and being married on Australia Day had a certain ring to it). We relaxed and ate many naughty things, drank bubbles and were very grateful for the cooler weather after our 36'C day previously. :-)
ReplyDeleteOoh! Happy anniversary, Michelle! Very romantic! Whereabouts in the UK?
DeleteLooks like you had a fabulous Australia Day, Amy. Perfect setting.
ReplyDeleteThanks Sue, we did 😄
DeleteLooks like you had a lovely day, Amy. We just hung around at home and played quite a few board games and had walks on the beach.
ReplyDeleteI love your new cover...hot, hot, HOT!
Board games and walks on the beach sounds perfect, Jen!
DeleteLove my cover too. It was basically an image I chose myself so I've loved it from the beginning.
I'm a bit late--I was out having heaps of fun yesterday. The pics look great though, Amy. And who could have Australia Day without lamingtons? :)
ReplyDeleteExactly! Although I'm waiting for one of our cousins from across the ditch to pipe up and dispute the good old lammy's origions 😜
ReplyDeleteI'm late too, Amy but I just wanted to say what great photos! Looks like you had an awesome day! And look at those cricket stump eskies! I've seen them on shorts on the TV and thought they looked like the most brilliant idea!
