Whoops, a day late and a dollar short!

Seems to be the story of my life at the moment. Do you have days, weeks or months like that? I'm glad I have October to look forward to and, with it, my next release with Harlequin Desire's Billionaires and Babies series--THE CHILD THEY DIDN'T EXPECT.

Here's the blurb:

SURPRISE--IT'S A BABY!
After their steamy vacation fling, Alison Carter knows Ronin Marshall is a skilled lover and a billionaire businessman. But a father...who hires her New Zealand baby-planning service? This divorcee has already been deceived once; Ronin's now the last man she wants to see.
But he must have Ali. Only she can rescue Ronin from the upheaval of caring for his orphaned nephew...and give Ronin more of what he shared with her during the best night of his life. But something is holding her back. And Ronin will stop at nothing to find out what secrets she's keeping!

Holiday romance is an enticing theme to work with. So many of us identify with it, don't you think? Have you ever had a holiday fling? Was it short and sweet, or did it develop into something more. I'd love to know! Me, I met my hubby when I was still in my teens so holiday flings, unless they were with him, weren't a happening thing. I was too busy falling in love with the future father of my children! LOL!

  1. Looks like a fab read, Yvonne! I also met my husband when we were in our teens (very late teens) so the holiday fling is a fantasy concept for me. I wouldn't have it any other way though :)

    1. Fantasies are probably better anyway, Stefanie. Less sand in unwanted places and no jetlag! ;-)

  2. No, Yvonne, no holiday flings here either. what a sad lot we are. :) But at least we get to write about them and can let our imaginations go wild.

  3. Book sounds great, Yvonne!

No holiday flings for me, either, but I did have one holiday crush. Ruined my holiday because I spent the two whole weeks watching him and not doing anything fun with my time. In my defence, I was very young.

    1. Oh, Claire, I think that's very normal for when we're young. And part of the fun, too, I guess.

  4. No holiday flings for me, but they are wonderful to read about though.

Started the book today - received it two days ago and needed to finish Rachel's Summer of Jake first. I think I'm about half way through the second chapter and feel like I'm loving the story already.

  5. nope, no holiday flings here either! So, I agree with Lyn that it makes reading about them fun!

I did go on holiday with the boy I was completely loopy about when I was 16 - his family took me on a beach holiday with them. I think it was on the first day that I fell off his brother's bike and grazed the palms of both hands and my forearms up to the elbows. (sigh) Alas, I am a true Sagittarian!

    1. Thanks, Helen! How cute that you guys met when you were so young. I've always told Mr Fix-it that he is my longest standing interest in life, next to breathing!

  7. Yvonne, sorry to be late stopping by. I love the sound of this holiday romance book. I remember falling in love, or so I thought, on holiday in my early teens. Never met the guy again but he seemed so wonderful he distracted me for months afterwards.

Looking forward to reading your latest.

    1. Ah, young love. Is anything quite as intense? I don't think so, do you? All those "might have beens" to ponder on.

I hope you enjoy the story, Annie!
