The long-running TCC series is a favourite with Desire readers. When I was asked to contribute to this lastest set of stories, I was blown away. The chance to work alongside these truly amazing authors in a group of connected books? My answer was a resounding, “You bet!”
At my story’s start, star-chitect Daniel Warren is a visitor to Royal - home of the band of dedicated men who head the TCC. However, Daniel is no stranger to the south and he’s not too thrilled about the memories, and sense of guilt, this assignment has dredged up. He’ll help a gutsy friend campaign for president of the club – a woman, no less. Then he’s outta there, back to New York City where he belongs.
But when an attractive, sophisticated younger woman knocks him sideways by taking control and inviting herself into his hotel room, Daniel must accept that while he might not have been looking for trouble – or passion - in Royal’s maverick heiress, Elizabeth Milton, he’s found it in spades.
The series kicks off with One Night, Two Heirs this month! The author? USA Today bestselling author, Maureen Child! And here’s the rest of the incredible line-up…
Brenda Jackson, Katherine Garbera, Kathy Denosky, Barbara Dunlop as well as yours truly.
Daniel and Elizabeth’s story – Playboy Millionaire, Maverick Heiress – hits the NA shelves in October and is available for preorder now! Thank you to New York Times bestselling author Susan Mallery for her fabulous quote.
What's your favourite series? Any genre!

Robbie, that cover is stunning! And the cover quote from Susan Mallery is so true. :)
ReplyDeleteSeries... I loved the Nora Roberts Three Sisters Island trilogy. And there was an old Liz Fielding trilogy about three sisters who owned a large department store and the three men (who are cousins, I think) who want the store back in their family. It was years ago and I missed the third one and had to hunt for years in second hand bookstores to finally find it.
The series of the moment has to be Harry Potter. Less than a week till the final movie is in cinemas - can't wait!
Robbie, "Playboy Millionaire, Maverick Heiress" sounds fabulous -- I can't wait to read it!
ReplyDeleteHmm...fave series. This is a tough one. If I had to choose just one I think it might have to be the Anne of Green Gables series. That said, I love the Jackson Brodie books by Kate Atkinson...and then there's Anne Gracie's linked historicals and Mary Janice Davidson's Undead series, and... Okay, I'd betterl stop now. :-)
Hey Rachel! That cover model is pretty special, huh. =)
ReplyDeleteI *love* Liz Fielding!! And I read a serires with Nora Roberts once about a town being haunted by a ghost/demon that had come back from the 1500s. Soooo good!
I have a confession to make. I never read Anne of Green Gables, I really *must* get it for my youngest.
ReplyDeleteI did read - and loved - MJDs Undead series! Gotta love vampires =)
Hi Robbie!
ReplyDeleteWow, you are rubbing shoulders with some fabbo authors who clearly think you're pretty fabulous too! (I could have told them that!! lol!)
Your book looks and sounds wonderful. My favourite series is unquestionably JR Ward's Black Dagger Brotherhood.
Fabulous cover Robyn.
ReplyDeleteFavourite series? I'm another Green Gables fan, and I love the Little Women books. Fav category series - Ruth Wind's The Last Roundup - three very different and uber hot brothers who find love. Sigh. Must go and dig them out again.
Cheers
Hey Mel! Ah yes, JR Ward. *Fabulous* writer. Vampires rule!
ReplyDeleteHi Helen! I read a Ruth Wind a few years back. An amnesia story and it was brilliant!!!
ReplyDeleteRobyn
ReplyDeleteI will be sure not to miss this series. I so love books in a series and a couple of my favourites have been Johanna Lindsey's Mallory's and Julia Quinn's Bridgerton's love them.
Congrats Robyn
Have Fun
Helen
That is a gorgeous cover, Robyn! I love a cowboy story so I'm really looking forward to yours hitting the shelf!
ReplyDeleteI enjoy linked books as long as they stand firmly on their own. Nora Roberts has done some terrific linked books - The MacKade brothers was one of my faves!
:)
