We are 14 Australian and New Zealand category romance authors (some of us for Harlequin, some for Entangled) who love romance and animals equally.
Sharon Archer writes for Harlequin Medical Romance. She was born in New Zealand and grew up around the Air Force bases where her father was stationed. She went on to train in medical science, working in hospital laboratories. Although, books had always been a part of her life, it never occurred to her that writing could be an occupation until a television interview many years ago with Mills & Boon author, Valerie Parv. She now lives in country Victoria, Australia, with her husband, one lame horse and five pensionable hens.
Rachel Bailey writes for Harlequin Desire. She lives with her own personal hero and four dogs on the east coast of Australia. Their house is on her dream property – 10 acres of native trees on the side of a hill, within driving distance to the beach.
Making up stories has always been one of her passions. She received her first rejection letter at the age of eight for Keri the Koala Baby, and has been writing ever since.

Robyn Grady writes for Harlequin Desire and Presents/Sexy as well as Entangled. She was first published with Harlequin in 2007. Her books feature regularly on bestsellers lists and at award ceremonies, including The National Readers Choice, The Booksellers Best, Cataromance Reviewers Choice and Australia’s prestigious Romantic Book of the Year. Robyn lives on Queensland’s beautiful Sunshine Coast with her real life hero husband and three daughters.
Her captivating stories are full of romance in descriptive natural environments. She believes the passion and risk of falling in love are perfectly mirrored by the danger and richness of wild places.
Natalie Anderson writes for Harlequin RIVA/Sexy Sensation. Like many modern day M&B authors, Natalie thanks her grandmother for introducing her to the world of fabulously rich heroes, beautiful heroines and toe curling passion. As a teen she alternated between her favourites and the classics on her book shelf but it was always the romance (and detective) stories she'd turn to for a relaxing read.
Leah Ashton is the newest of the LoveCats and the winner
of 2010 inaugural 'New Voices' competition to find the freshest, newest voice in the world. Leah debuts for Harlequin Romance (RIVA) in late 2011. She lives in Western Australia with her own personal hero and a scrabble of furry family.
Kiwi, Sue MacKay writes for Mills&Boon Medical and lives on the edge of Mahau Sound at the top of NZ's south island. She planned her whole childhood to be a nurse until she saw a severed foot preserved in a jar on an excursion to a medical laboratory and she immediately changed her focus to becoming a lab technician. Now she's a romance writer after a lifetime of writing for pleasure.
