Dementia is not pretty....
In the last six weeks, my 50-year-old sis-in-law died during cancer surgery. A woman I called Mom died of heart failure. My favourite boss's 52-year-old son died of cancer (while his 48-year-old sister has been battling cancer longer). Another sis-in-law was diagnosed with bone cancer. A woman whose children I long ago babysat just died. And then Mom has recurring back/leg pain that is exacerbated by her dementia, so here's hoping things have calmed down here and can return to whatever our new normal is.
Merry Christmas to you and your family!Laney4https://www.blogger.com/profile/06990122242183752771noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2489168146200487747.post-19436317659933634002012-12-16T19:07:58.981+11:002012-12-16T19:07:58.981+11:00That's such an amazing smooch thank you.

I don't NEED anything, as I am lucky to have a roof over my head and a well-stocked pantry; I really don't WANT anything either - at least under the tree. I WANT to spend time with family and friends, and it appears that this wish will come true. I WANT nobody to be in the hospital, but time will tell on that (as several people have been ill lately, plus four friends/relatives have died in the last six weeks). I WANT worldwide peace, but apparently that's asking too much, so I'll settle for I WANT to do my best to achieve peace in MY part of the world.Laney4https://www.blogger.com/profile/06990122242183752771noreply@blogger.com
