World War II arrived and got in the way of a budding friendship and romance. When my father was stationed in New Guinea for the war, my mother realised that she would miss him terribly if he did NOT come back! My father proposed a second time, almost 10 years after the first. My mother said ‘yes’ and they had their fairytale wedding. In her early twenties she went on a whistlestop tour of Europe with a lot of other young people. A couple she kept in contact with and one guy in particular here in Australia became a penpal. After quite a few years corresponding, often about the love lives of others, they decided that maybe they were a 'match'. He went to visit her in Canada to see if it was so. A month later they were married and less than a month later she migrated here and has been here ever since.Annie Westhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16804740491737358014noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2489168146200487747.post-83881063918244378202012-11-19T14:54:10.099+11:002012-11-19T14:54:10.099+11:00i meet hubby by my friend at work. first time im s...i meet hubby by my friend at work. first time im scared cause he more old than me. but after we meet he is so cute. lol. just like you say, it more important to share our love by the time.Cecilia83https://www.blogger.com/profile/01486446276501580187noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2489168146200487747.post-72289303581369043382012-11-19T14:09:21.267+11:002012-11-19T14:09:21.267+11:00Hi Sara! When we were good enough, he invited us to the club in town. My husband and I were the only people under sixty! Not very romantic - but a different way of meeting :)

CathCatherinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09322007107036171737noreply@blogger.com
